A statewide assessment by the Department of Education presents a wide range of results for school districts in the Commonwealth.
Statewide, there was a rise in proficiency scores in Math on the PSSAs from 40.2 percent to 41.7 percent.
However, there was a drop in English Language Arts scores.
State officials say four-year graduation rates had a very slight increase to 88 percent. There was also a rise in regular attendance for the third straight year.
According to the latest available data in the report, 63 percent of high school graduates in the county went on to college.
Percentage of students that go to college from local districts:
- Butler: 65%
- Karns City: 53%
- Mars: 85%
- Moniteau: 59%
- Slippery Rock: 56%
- Knoch: n/a
- Seneca Valley: 83%
