A portion of a busy local highway had to be shut down Monday afternoon as a result of a crash.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just after 2 p.m. for a crash involving a semi-truck on New Castle Road (Route 422) in Prospect Borough.
Crews from Prospect, Portersville, and Butler Ambulance were dispatched to find a passenger vehicle rolled onto its side and a woman in her 20s was still inside. One of the passengers in that vehicle was a one-year-old child. The extent of injuries is not believed to be serious.
A portion of Route 422 eastbound needed to be blocked for nearly an hour with traffic detoured to the Route 528 ramp.
