One woman died after being hit by a horse over the weekend.
67-year-old Nancy Porter of Concord Township was working with her horses Saturday afternoon at a home on McKinney Road.
Dispatchers say Porter was kicked by one of the horses.
A medical helicopter was called and flew Porter to a Pittsburgh hospital where she later died.
According to her obituary, Porter was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed working with horses, cattle, and crops.
