A Karns City man is facing charges after he allegedly came out of his home and then fired a gun in Fairview Township.
On Tuesday, police were called to a home in the 800 block of Hooker Road for reported gunfire.
When officers interviewed the suspect, 60-year-old Michael Freedline, he allegedly admitted to firing the gun outside of his home. Officers also say Freedline allegedly threatened the victim that he “would kill him.”
Officers say Freedline also screamed profanities during their interview.
He was charged with terroristic threats, harassment, and disorderly conduct and placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bond.
A preliminary hearing has been set for December 16.
