A Cranberry Township man has been charged and placed in the Butler County Prison after it’s alleged he broke into an ex-girlfriend’s home and attacked another man.
Just before 5 a.m. Sunday, police were called to UPMC Passavant for a reported assault. When officers spoke with the victim, he accused 37-year-old Everton Modesto da Silva of breaking-in and attacking him causing a cut to his hand and more.
The victim told police he believed Silva was still at the home in the 1200 block of Norberry Court.
Police then took Silva into custody and charged him with burglary, simple assault, and harassment. He’s being held on $15,000 bond as he awaits a preliminary hearing.
