A serial retail thief has been charged in Butler after she allegedly stole over $16,000 worth of items.
On Saturday just before 9:30 p.m. police were called to the Dick’s Sporting Goods in Butler Township for reported retail theft.
The store manager was able to identify the alleged thief and their vehicle.
Police got a search warrant and pulled over 24-year-old Naimah Rorie of Cleveland, Ohio.
Inside the car, police allegedly found over $2,200 worth of stolen items from Dick’s Sporting Goods and over $14,000 worth of other stolen items for a total amount of $16,495.
Rorie was charged with several counts of retail theft and criminal conspiracy. She is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
