First Energy is providing more details on the power outage that impacted thousands of homes yesterday.
Over 9,000 homes were without power yesterday, causing concerns for many residents as temperatures dropped into the single digits. The outages were mainly in the Seven Fields, Mars, and Valencia areas.
First Energy officials say the outage was caused by a high voltage line that fell in a remote area.
Almost half of the outages were restored in an hour. Everyone had their power back on by 10 a.m.
