The Mars Area School District has released the results of a fundraiser last week.
Students at the Mars Area Elementary School raised nearly $3,800 to benefit the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports program through a Door Decorating contest and Coin Wars fundraiser.
Students in second, third, and fourth grades worked together to decorate classroom doors in various holiday themes as well as donate coins to help stock the program’s prize bin.
The Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports program rewards students for acts of kindness and other positive behavior.
