Representatives of the southeastern portion of Butler County feel like they’re making progress on collective projects in the region.
At yesterday’s county commissioner meeting, the Southeast Butler Municipal Collective spoke about their recent collaborations.
It contains Buffalo, Clinton, and Jefferson Townships, along with Saxonburg and Freeport.
The municipalities all agreed to a half-mil increase to help support EMS agencies. They also said they’re making headway on transportation concerns—primarily focusing on Route 356 and 28.
Representatives also say they are advocating for Route 356 to be expanded to multiple lanes in between Route 28 and Route 228.
