The holiday travel period officially kicks off tomorrow.
AAA is projecting record-breaking holiday travel over the next two weeks.
An estimated 122 million Americans will be traveling more than 50 miles from home according to AAA. In the Mid-Atlantic region, there’s expected to be over 13 million travelers, including 945,000 who will be flying this year.
AAA says the worst travel times will be from noon to 8 p.m. tomorrow and then from 1-7 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday.
