A new program aimed to help recruit and retain childcare workers in the state is now live.
Applications for the new Child Care Staff Recruitment and Retention Program in Pennsylvania have opened.
The budget set aside $25 million to support retention bonuses for 55,000 childcare workers statewide.
Pennsylvania’s early learning and childcare system serves more than 300,000 children.
Eligible providers must submit their applications to the ELRC before the January 9, 2026, to receive the bonus.
