An Evans City woman is in the Butler County Prison after she allegedly stabbed a man in Connoquenessing Township.
Monday night, police were called to a home on the 200 block of Hoot Owl Road in the Woodlands for an alleged stabbing. When officers arrived on scene they heard 56-year-old Lennie Lambert screaming in the home.
Officers took Lambert in custody and spoke with the victim who suffered two stab wounds to the shoulder.
The victim claims that Lambert came out of a room irate and stabbed him while he was sitting on a chair.
Lambert was charged with resisting arrest, simple assault, and two counts of aggravated assault, one class one and one class two felony. She has been placed in the Butler County Prison on $15,000 bail as she awaits a preliminary hearing.
