Even though many leave Christmas Trees up through New Year, Butler County officials say residents have a number of options in order to recycle a tree.
Trees will be accepted at…
- Seneca Landfill Compost Site: 421 Hartmann Road in Evans City. Trees will be accepted during their normal operating hours through January 31st for a $5 fee.
- Adams Township: Drop trees off at the Community Park in the Splash Pad parking lot through January 11th.
Other municipalities may have a curbside pickup program or collection site for residents. County officials say to make sure all trees are free of decorations and any plastic bags.
