Slippery Rock University’s Performing Arts Center is receiving recognition.
The American Institute of Architects recently awarded the center with a certificate of merit in their 2025 Design Pittsburgh awards.
The group, known as the AIA, said the center is a “vibrant, contemporary home for the arts.”
It cited it light-filled spaces, motif of arches, and how it blends into the campus.
The Performing Arts Center includes the Miller Theater on the campus of SRU.
