The 2026 Property Tax/rent rebate application for older and disabled state residents has opened.
Pennsylvanians 65 and older, widows and widowers 50 and older, and those with a disability 18 and older making under $48,000 a year can qualify for a rebate of up to $1,000.
Those looking to sign up can go to pa.gov/ptrr for the program or call 1-888-222-9190.
The deadline to apply is the end of June and rebates can be distributed as early as the beginning of July.
