The new Marion Township water treatment system is just about complete.
County officials say water has been hauled in to the new reservoir and is ready to go.
However, the old reservoir will remain due to deadlines surrounding the project. In the initial proposal, the old reservoir was to be torn down.
Marion Township will now be responsible for old reservoir. It’s not clear what future plans they have for the location.
