Local residents are being asked to join in an effort to save lives for National Blood Donor Month.
The first of several local Vitalant blood drives is planned for Monday (tomorrow) from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Haine Middle School.
Other Vitalant drives will take place Thursday and Friday of next week at the Butler VA Medical Center Auditorium and North Catholic High School.
Vitalant is offering all donors who give blood and opt into their Donor Rewards Program a chance to win one of 26 $500 gift cards.
