A Butler man is facing charges after an alleged stabbing City of Butler earlier this week.
The incident happened Tuesday in 400 block of West Jefferson Street. When police arrived on scene, the caller told police 40-year-old Christopher McCarn stabbed the victim and then ran into the caller’s home on the 400 block of West Cunningham Street.
When police went into the home, McCarn was found inside and taken into custody. Police used a video recorded at the scene of the stabbing to charge McCarn.
McCarn was charged with three counts of simple assault and two counts of terroristic threats. McCarn is being held in the Butler County Prison on $40,000 bond as he awaits a preliminary hearing.
