With bitter cold temperatures expected for the rest of this week, local officials are reminding people in need of the downtown warming center.
The center is located at Glade Run’s Grace Wellness Center on the Diamond.
It opens nightly at 10 p.m. and will operate through 8 a.m. each day.
The center is for people experiencing homelessness so they have a warm place to sleep, along with eat and shower.
Vouchers are needed to access the center. They can be picked up at the Center for Community Resources or Catholic Charities.
The warming center operates until the end of March.
