Butler City crews are continuing to work at removing excess snow from city neighborhoods.
According to Mayor Bob Dandoy, Wiest Asphalt Products and Paving has been given approval to assist with snow removal and hauling of the snow to areas that can accommodate it.
Dandoy anticipates that the lack of snow in the short-term forecast will allow the city to get caught up this week before the next significant snowfall event.
Dandoy emphasized that this process takes time and crews are working as quickly as possible. He also thanked residents for their patience and understanding.
