Police have released more information on a Cranberry Township two vehicle crash that sent one person to the hospital in mid-January.
On January 18 just after 10:30 p.m., police were called to I-79 near the Cranberry Mars exit for a two-vehicle accident.
According to State Police, a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Michele Danenmuller of Zelienople was driving in the wrong direction on I-79 northbound.
Danenmuller hit a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Ahmed El Daour of Oakdale. Both drivers suffered minor injuries and Danenmuller was taken to a local hospital for suspected minor injuries.
An investigation into the crash found Danenmuller was under the influence.
