State Representative Tim Bonner is the latest local lawmaker to take issue with the size of Governor Josh Shapiro’s budget.
The Republican Bonner said in a statement that the proposed budget is another “reckless step towards fiscal disaster for Pennsylvania.”
Bonner says the budget would deplete the Rainy Day Fund, which currently sits at $7.5 billion.
Bonner also added that it will most likely be another lengthy budget battle.
