A Cranberry Township man accused of having over 400 pieces of child sexual abuse material has pled now pled guilty.
In May 2024, police arrested 48-year-old John Lefler for being in possession of child abuse material after a 16-year-old co-worker at Giant Eagle reported him to police.
Lefler admitted to possessing and sharing the explicit content online. At the time, Lefler was charged with 433 counts but on Thursday he pled guilty to one.
Lefler was sentenced to 12 to 24 months in prison, but can be paroled with time served after six months, 96 months of probation, has to register as a sex offender, and pay $3,778 for fees and cost of prosecution.
