Butler County Emergency Services is reminding residents about the new emergency alert system.
The county is now using the service Regroup, which alerts residents by text and email on emergencies in the county. These could be weather emergencies or life-threatening events.
You can sign up on the Regroup website in order to receive alerts. County officials say you do not download the Regroup app to get alerts.
