Butler Township is moving ahead with a storm water project planned for later this year.
During their meeting Monday night, the Butler Township Commissioners approved the Home/Acre CDBG Storm Water Project.
The 2023 grant administered by Butler County was recently awarded to Holbein Inc in the amount of $389,000 of which Butler Township will be responsible for $63,000. About 1,300 feet of pipe will be installed between South Duffy Road and Home Avenue.
This work is expected to be completed within three to four months later this year. This project is not expected to include any road closures.
