A national nonprofit organization has announced that a recent fundraising event was a success.
Community Options hosted the 18th annual Cupid’s Chase 5K at Lake Arthur Golf Club last Saturday morning.
Organizers say over 130 runners from children to seniors participated in the local activity, with awards given to a variety of age groups.
Proceeds from this and 48 other races across the country benefit Community Options, which is an organization helping those with disabilities in areas such as employment and housing support.
