A firefighter from the Oneida Valley Volunteer Fire Company was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle Friday night.
Mike King was hit by a vehicle this past Friday around 5:30 p.m. on Route 38. He was responding to a down tree that fell due to the high winds.
King was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital, where he was placed in the ICU. According to the GoFundMe, King has a “long and uncertain” recovery.
