A Butler man is in the Butler County Prison after he allegedly assaulted hospital security.
On Saturday night, police were called to Butler Memorial Hospital for an alleged assault.
When officers arrived, security for the hospital say 36-year-old Cory Eichert was being uncooperative with staff and disruptive. When hospital security attempted to get Eichert under control, he allegedly grabbed a security guard and banged their head into a wall three times.
Eichert has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and harassment. His bail was set at $30,000 and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for April 2.
