An informational picket is happening today as contract negotiations drag on for medical technicians at Butler Memorial Hospital.
The picket is set for this afternoon from 3 to 6 p.m.
The technicians recently voted to join the Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses and Allied Professionals, and are now looking for a contract.
The technicians say that administrators at Independence Health System have negotiated in bad faith and decline to release necessary information.
They also say they haven’t had a raise in over two years.
