Butler County Community College has reached a new agreement with its administrative assistants.
The four-year deal includes a 3 percent increase in three out of the four years of the deal. There is a four percent increase in the second year of the contrac.t That is for both salary and hourly workers.
There is also an early retirement incentive of $10,000 for those with 15 years experience.
There are 29 full-time and seven part-time administrative assistants. The average annual salary for a full-time administrative assistant at BC3 is $42,090.
Administrative assistants who work part time will be eligible for an increase in prorated tuition waivers and those who work full time, in the number of credits eligible for tuition reimbursement.
