A Parker man is in the Butler County Prison after he allegedly fired a shot in an Allegheny Township home.
It happened Monday around 3 a.m. when police were called to a home on the 200 block of Division Road for a domestic incident with reports of a shot fired.
When officers arrived, they spoke with the suspect, 62-year-old James Gamble, who said he got into an argument that turned into physical. Gamble then fired a shot through a window, but told police he was shooting at a coyote.
Gamble then fired another shot at a wall of the house. He’s also accused of hitting the victim with a closed fist.
Gamble has been charged with discharge or a firearm into an occupied structure, harassment, and two counts of simple assault.
His bail was set at $10,000 and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for March 31.
