The Pittsburgh Steelers have bolstered their special teams by signing running back Travis Homer, a seven-year NFL veteran, who has played for the Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears. He was drafted by Seattle and spent his first four seasons with the Seahawks. The 27-year old Homer was a significant contributor to the Bears special teams over the past three seasons with the Bears. He has 49 career tackles on special teams and two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
