One of two Erie County men accused of stealing $50,000 worth of guns was sentenced yesterday.
Last March, police were called to a Cranberry Township home for 19 rifles and shotguns that were stolen for a combined value of more than $51,000.
Police connected the theft to 24-year-old Mathew Snippert of Erie and 22-year-old Coby Andrzejewski of Waterford.
On Tuesday, Snippert pled guilty to theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief, and conspiracy. He was sentenced to 18 months of probation and ordered to pay $1,780 in fines, fees, and cost of prosecution.
Andrzejewski has not pled guilty to any charges and is currently out of prison on nonmonetary bail awaiting a trial.
