A Cranberry man was sentenced in Beaver County last week for killing two people while driving under the influence.
Last June, 46-year-old Israel Cooch of Cranberry was driving under the influence when he crashed into another car, killing 23-year-old Sheylee Young-Davis and 25-year-old Matthew Lance Jr., and severely injuring a third person.
Cooch pled guilty to 20 of 22 potential counts, including two counts of homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence and two counts of homicide by vehicle.
Cooch was sentenced to 14 to 36 years in prison with 265 days served. Cooch will also have to pay $22,240 in fines, fees, and restitution.
