A Butler man is facing charges after a person he allegedly assaulted in Center Township was flown to Pittsburgh hospital.
Police were called to the Belmont Inn on Route 8 Friday just before 10:30 p.m.
According to charging documents, the victim was driving and almost hit 39-year-old Joshua Young. That led to the driver and Young getting into a fight.
Video surveillance from the incident then shows Young hitting the victim on the left side of their face with a closed fist. The victim then fell to the ground and was unconscious.
He was flown to UPMC Presbyterian with serious injuries.
Young is awaiting a preliminary hearing and has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct.
