There’s still time for local government, nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher education, and private providers offering services to youth to apply for state funding.
The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency has announced $5 million in funding available through the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Plan.
Applicants can request up to $250,000 to support an up-to-24-month project period to address pressing issues impacting youth, from gun violence and mental health needs to educational success and career readiness.
The deadline to submit applications online is tomorrow (Monday) with awards approved in June.
