The Butler Public Library is making some changes to their hours of operation.
Library officials say that effective tomorrow the new hours will be Mondays and Fridays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This change is being made as a result of a significant rise in operating costs, including utilities, materials, and essential services.
The change will allow the library to continue offering engaging programs for all ages, keep collections current, maintain a safe environment, and preserve long-term sustainability.
