Mars Borough will soon be using a new alert system for during emergencies.
Monday night the borough council approved to use Rave Alert System to alert residents of emergencies.
If you had previously signed up for the alert system you will need to resign up for alerts on the Mars Borough website.
The previous alert system company CodeRed went out of business.
The council approved the decision unanimously.
