A special election will be held later this summer in Butler County for a State Representative that is resigning.
The Speaker of the House announced a special election will be held to fill the seat vacated by State Representative Stephenie Scialabba.
The election will be held on August 18 and only voters in the 12th legislative district will be eligible to vote—that’s mainly in the southwestern corridor of the county.
