The winners of the seventh annual Jean B. Purvis Community Cornerstone Award have been announced.
David and Lisa Konesni were named as this year’s honorees for “leadership, service, and enduring commitment (that) have made a meaningful and lasting impact on the Butler County community”.
The Konesnis have been longtime supporters of the Community Health Center. David served as president of the Center’s Board of Directors from 2012 to 2021 but passed away last January after a battle with ALS. Lisa has supported the center by serving on the planning committee of several fundraising events. She also served on the Butler Area School District Board of Directors as well as the board of the Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation.
Lisa will be presented with the awards at a dinner on May 8th at the Butler Country Club.
