Two Butler parents are facing charges after being accused of hitting their child in two separate incidents.
Police have charged 47-year-old Chad Mitchell and 40-year-old Hannah Mitchell over two separate incidents.
The first happened last August, when Hannah Mitchell waved a knife during an argument with Chad. But at that time, the child attempted to move away and the knife went across the child’s sweater.
In October, Chad Mitchell allegedly shoved a child into a chair during breakfast.
Both parents are facing several charges including endangering the welfare of children.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for May 7.
