A retraction has been announced for a recall that was issued for Walmart brand children’s meal.
A public health alert was sent out over frozen chicken nuggets that were believed to contain an unsafe level of lead.
Further testing of the original batch that was flagged found no evidence of elevated lead.
Federal health officials retracted the recall for Great Value Fully Cooked Dino Shaped Chicken Breast Nuggets with a “Best If Used By” date of “Feb 10, 2027.”
The Food Safety and Inspection Service determined the original test produced a false positive result.
