Lawmakers in Harrisburg are considering a bill that would modernize tagging and reporting requirements for big game harvesting.
The proposed law would give the Game Commission the power to create rules and regulations for big game harvesting instead of Congress.
The bill would also allow the Game Commission to track big game harvesting with technology instead having to have a paper trail.
The House Game and Fishery Committee is now considering the bill.
