The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has new life.
After previous plans to shut down in May, the longtime Pittsburgh newspaper will now be sold to the Baltimore-based Venetoulis Institute for Local Journalism.
The sale will become official May 4 and operations in Pittsburgh will not change. The two publications days of Thursday and Sunday will remain as well.
Financial terms of the deal have not been made public.
