A Cranberry woman is facing charges after being accused of breaking into an Adams Township apartment and then fleeing the scene.
The incident happened Thursday just after 7 p.m. when officers were called to a home on the 200 block of Adams Pointe Boulevard North for an intoxicated woman who broke into an apartment then got in the victim’s bed.
Police identified the suspect as 42-year-old Stacey Dougherty. When officers arrived at the scene Dougherty had left the home. She was later spotted on Route 422 for driving in the wrong lane.
She has been charged with burglary, stalking, disorderly conduct, a DUI, and harassment.
Dougherty’s bail was set at $100,000 and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for April 29.
