A local firefighter that was seriously injured after being hit by a car while responding to an incident is now back home.
Mike King was released from the hospital over the weekend and was given a big welcome back home. A number of fire trucks started a procession helping escort King back to his house.
King is a captain in the Oneida Valley Volunteer Fire Department.
He was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle on Route 38 while responding to a downed tree during a storm on March 13th.
