At least one person was injured as a result of a multiple vehicle crash in Buffalo Township on Monday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 2:30 p.m. for a crash at the intersection of South Pike Road and Edgewood Drive.
Crews from Sarver and Buffalo Township were among those responding to find five vehicles involved. Two people needed to be taken to the hospital for treatment of head and arm injuries.
A portion of the roadway had to be shut down for about an hour while crews worked to clear the scene.
