Butler Township Police have released more information on a car that crashed into a restaurant earlier this week.
On Monday just after 7 p.m. crews were called to the Applebee’s in the Butler Crossing plaza for a vehicle that had crashed into the building.
No medical treatment was need for the driver Jeffrey Picerno who crashed the vehicle.
Picerno told police he had a rental vehicle and was unfamiliar with the style of controls. He was trying to go in reverse and went forward instead.
