The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) has announced the largest grant funding formula.
The increase will see awardees receive a maximum award of $6,000 for the 2026-27 school year, up $250 from the past four years.
The formula considers several factors, including family resources, cost of tuition, number of applicants, and expected available financial resources.
In total $445.2 million in grants are available for Pennsylvania students who fill out the state grant form after filling out the FAFSA form.
