Lawmakers in Harrisburg are sending a bill to the senate that will require schools to inform parents about bullying incidents.
According to the bill’s memo, although some schools do inform parents of bullying incidents, some do not. Advocates for the bill say it puts the responsibility on the schools to inform parents.
House Bill 830 based with bipartisan support, 136 to 65 and will now head to the senate committees before a vote on the senate floor.
